My family tradition by Shiba Padang Padang is the capital of the province of West Sumatra, and the principal gateway to the Minang Highlands. Padang's port at the south of the city is the largest port in Sumatra. That the Minangkabau are proud of their culture is reflected in the style of the new buildings. Many of the new buildings are constructed with roofs in Minangkabau style. In the center of Padang is the provincial museum Museum Negeri Adhityawarman. The museum build in traditional Minangkabau style, and houses objects of cultural and historical interest, like artifats related to Minang ceremonies, prehistoric artifast, stamps, manuscripts, imported ceramics, etc.Padang has some pretty beaches. The most popular ones are located south of Padang. The beaches are good for swimming, boating or just watching fishing boats going out in the afternoon. On Sundays, the beaches are usually crowded with families and youngsters enjoying their weekly day off. On other days, however, you will find the beaches deserted. One of the most famous attractions in Padang is the renowned Nasi Padang. It is served by numerous restaurants. When you sit down at a table, in no time the waiter will fill the whole table with plates, containing Kari, chicken and fish prepared in coconut curry, Rendang, meat in coconut gravy and Dendeng Balado, thin slices of dried and fried beef served with red chilies. You only have to pay for what you eats, so before you leave the waiter will make-up the bill.
My favourite tourist site in my country by Michelle My holiday to Bunaken On my holiday, I went to Manado. Manado is in North Sulawesi. That was my favorite holiday. Let me tell you. Last year I went to my cousin house. We promised that we would go to Bunaken. Bunaken is the most beautiful sea park in Indonesia. So, it was the time for us to go to that sea. I went there with my father, mother, all of my cousins in Manado and also my uncle and my aunty. When we arrived there, I swam and I dived. At that time, in my brain only how wonderful God is. Because I saw many beautiful things. For example Clown fish, dolphin, rainbow fish, and the others. Not only that, I gave them food also. I think that they like to play with us. Then, I felt happy. And we went back by a boat. So, when we arrived in the place that we put our car in that place we took our car and went home.
